The artist, DJ, and producer Autarkic (Nadav Spiegel), one of the most influential underground figures in recent years and a key player in TLV electronic scene, releases a new Hebrew-language album, available as a limited-edition vinyl and on digital platforms. Tahor is Autarkic's sixth album and his second in Hebrew. It is entirely composed of a mosaic of samples from his personal music collection, cuts from archival recordings, and historical references that hint at events that shaped him. The result is a personal and collective memory machine -- 14 tracks that take the listener on a journey through euphoric joy, subdued melancholy, and playful sarcasm. Tahor is a journey that emerges from Autarkic's private consciousness, offering a sober reflection on his unwavering insistence on being an artist who neither knows nor wishes to ''play the game'' for popularity ultimately finding peace with himself.
