The Kitchenettes are three friends from the San Francisco Bay Area's outrageously fertile indie scene who have been quietly impressing crowds for several years with their fragile homespun pop songs. Now they're following up their 2024 demos tape with the first Kitchenettes vinyl release, a delightful three song 7" that deftly updates the timeless Marine Girls/Dolly Mixture template for 2026. The three songs show an admirable range of mood, tempo and texture -- a lovely, warm vibe throughout.
