For the past 3 years, poet and musician Lou Turner has been steadily road dogging it across the world, as a member of Ryan Davis & The Roadhouse Band, on a MJ Lenderman tour, and in her Nashville trio the Styrofoam Winos. For her masterful new album Strangels, Turner decided to return home, record in her own studio, self-produce, and play most instruments herself.
