Sprained Ankle [CD]

Julien Baker - Sprained Ankle [CD]

Julien Baker recorded Sprained Ankle at Spacebomb Studios in Richmond, Virginia in 2014 and first put it out herself on Bandcamp with a drawing of her own as the cover. After 6131 Records picked it up, the album was mastered and formally released in October 2015 with the now-familiar grey portrait cover.

This reissue restores Baker's original hand-drawn artwork for the first time on a physical release. The nine songs are spare, mostly built on guitar and voice, and include "Sprained Ankle", "Something" and "Go Home".

1. Blacktop
2. Sprained Ankle
3. Brittle Boned
4. Everybody Does
5. Good News
