ROSEBUD is the tenth album from Current Joys, the solo project of Surf Curse drummer Nick Rattigan. Written first as a set of stripped-back slowcore songs and then reworked with producer never goodbye (Danny Dwyer), the record expands into a dense collage of nu metal, screamo, electronica, hip-hop, power-pop, emo and darkwave.

The album is also Rattigan's first self-released Current Joys record through his own They Are Evil imprint, pairing large, distorted hooks with moments of tenderness and introspection.
