The Lemonheads x The Bevis Frond - Roky / The Great Big No / My Drug Buddy [Indie Exclusive White Vinyl 12" EP]

The Lemonheads release a strictly limited edition 12” single featuring three classic tracks on white vinyl. Lead cut is ‘Roky,’ Evan Dando's homage to the late, great outsider genius Roky Erickson of garage psych legends 13th Floor Elevators, featuring a searing guitar break from the song's co-writer Nick Saloman of The Bevis Frond.

The Bevis Frond toured with The Lemonheads in support of the latter's acclaimed 2025 album Love Chant, from which ‘Roky’ originally comes. To complete this unique package, the Frond cover two Lemonheads songs, ‘The Great Big No’ and ‘My Drug Buddy,’ both sounding like the kind of UK-based left-field power pop that inspired Kurt Cobain in the formative days of grunge — the sort of thing that could have snuck out on the original Rough Trade or 53rd & 3rd labels at any time.
