Regenerene MMXXVI [Clear LP]

Josienne Clarke – Regenerene MMXXVI [Clear LP]

A decade after her BBC Folk Award win, English singer-songwriter Josienne Clarke revisits her folk roots through traditional material, her own songs and a cover of Sandy Denny’s "Fotheringay". Regenerene MMXXVI strips classics like "Katie Cruel", "Banks of the Sweet Primroses", "Silver Dagger" and "Black Is the Colour" back to their essentials, framed by nylon-string guitar, field organ, piano, harp, recorders and electric guitar, and closes with her new originals "Thaw" and "You Have to Leave to Return".

This UK import is pressed on transparent clear vinyl.
