Reaching Fourth is the second album led by pianist McCoy Tyner, recorded in November 1962 and released by Impulse! in 1963 while he was a member of the John Coltrane Quartet. Tyner leads a trio with Henry Grimes on bass and Roy Haynes on drums through his title track, "Theme for Ernie", "Old Devil Moon" and "Have You Met Miss Jones".
This Spanish import from Soundsgood is due on 180-gram vinyl in a gatefold jacket. It contains the complete original LP plus two bonus tracks, "There Is No Greater Love" and "Speak Low".
