Patchwork [CD]

Lisa LeBlanc - Patchwork [CD]

Much like a travel journal, Lisa LeBlanc's sixth album observes everyday life with sensitivity and humour. Its roots stretch from Moncton, New Brunswick, to Lafayette, Louisiana, a road trip she made in her van, with further inspiration from Corsica and Ireland.

Channeling her love of '60s and '70s folk and rock alongside traditional Cajun and Acadian music, she weaves a rich tapestry of melodies, harmonies and grooves. The title nods to her grandmother, who has made quilts from fabric scraps for over 50 years.
