Paradox of the Arrow [CD]

Assumption – Paradox of the Arrow [CD]

Italy's Assumption return with Paradox of the Arrow, a new descent into the strange temporal architecture of death doom. Riffs unfurl at a geological pace before erupting into violent death metal, then collapse into long stretches of dissonant resonance and spectral ambience, with guttural vocals rising from deep below.

Named after Zeno's paradox of the arrow that is motionless at any single instant, its six tracks play with movement and stillness, scale and duration, with psychedelic details flickering at the margins. CD edition on 20 Buck Spin.

Genre: Death Doom, Death Metal, Doom Metal, Metal.
