Nocturnes: Redux [Dark Wave Confetti LP]

Uh Huh Her – Nocturnes: Redux [Dark Wave Confetti LP]

Leisha Hailey and Camila Grey of Uh Huh Her wrote and recorded most of Nocturnes at their Los Angeles home studio, then finished it with Wendy Melvoin (Prince and the Revolution) at her treehouse studio. Producer Tchad Blake (Arctic Monkeys, Sheryl Crow) mixed it, with fans funding those sessions through auctions. Nocturnes: Redux finally presents Blake's original first and second mix attempts: longer, more rocked-out and more raucous than the versions that were released.

The reissue adds 'Shook', a hypnotic song Camila wrote in 2020, and an electrified cover of Sonic Youth's 'Kool Thing'. Pressed on dark wave confetti vinyl with a printed inner sleeve with lyrics and credits.
