Music for Two Films About Water [LP]

Liz Harris – Music for Two Films About Water [LP]

Liz Harris, best known as Grouper, has worked closely with film since she began performing, including a near decade-long collaboration with Paul Clipson. Music for Two Films About Water presents two recent scores for short films by Tanja Engelberts and Takashi Makino. Both explore water, blending literal, improvised and impressionistic takes on the theme through mercurial layers of mellotron, tape loops, Wurlitzer and field recordings.

Two long-form pieces, one per side, released on vinyl LP by Kranky.
