Music for Film [3LP]

Philip Glass - Music for Film [3LP]

Philip Glass: Music for Film, presented by Film Fest Gent, is the first album devoted entirely to new studio recordings of Glass's film scores, performed by the Brussels Philharmonic conducted by Dirk Brosse. It spans his Oscar-nominated scores for Kundun, The Hours and Notes on a Scandal, his work for Koyaanisqatsi and Naqoyqatsi, and music from Mishima, The Illusionist and The Truman Show.

This UK import from Silva Screen spreads the program over three LPs with extensive liner notes. More than half an hour of the music, including selections from Secret Window, Taking Lives and the complete Hamburger Hill score, has never been released before. Due October 16, 2026.
