Mr. Scrapper's Blues is Scrapper Blackwell's second album and was originally released on Bluesville Records in 1962. This stripped-down album features only Blackwell on vocals, guitar, and piano. Producer Arthur Rosenbaum says, ''[Blackwell's] blues are less direct and accessible but are more subtle and personal; their meaning has grown more profound over the years.''
