Salamat Ali Khan - Metamusik Festival Berlin '74, Vol. II [LP]

Salamat Ali Khan was one of the great vocalists of Hindustani classical music, a master of the khyal form whose virtuosic, deeply expressive singing made him a legend across South Asia. This archival recording from the 1974 Metamusik Festival in Berlin captures an extended performance of Raag Chandrakauns, unfolding across both sides of the record.

Issued by Black Truffle, the Australian label known for its curated experimental and archival releases, this LP is the second volume drawn from the festival.
