The first TEAZE album was recorded in 1976 at a facility near Toronto called The Grange. The band thought they were taping demos. Nevertheless an LP called “TEAZE” was released. TEAZE was signed by Aquarius Records and the band moved to Montreal. In late 1977 they made the album called On The Loose with producer George Lagios. The big hit turned out to be a country styled song called “Sweet Misery.” A deal was then signed with Capitol Records in the U.S. and released One Night Stands and was considered to be TEAZE’s finest work. Producer Myles Goodwyn helped the band weave together all of the elements and One Night Stand sincluded the band’s most memorable songs,” Heartless World” and “Young and Reckless”. TEAZE’s fifth and final album, Body Shots was released in 1980 and was a strong effort but failed to reach commercial success and the band disbanded shortly after. They reformed in 2019 and recorded the live album Live At Liege in 2025 and it captures all the hits with the band firing on all cylinders.
