Just a Thought [LP]

Thompson Egbo-Egbo - Just a Thought [LP]

Toronto-based pianist Thompson Egbo-Egbo brings a lyrical touch and a wide-open ear to Just a Thought. Original compositions like "Time and Space" and the title track sit alongside fresh takes on Paul Simon's "50 Ways to Leave Your Lover", the standard "Out of Nowhere", Bud Powell's "Tempus Fugit" and Piazzolla's "Libertango".

Released on vinyl by Outside in Music, this LP is a warm, modern piano jazz record that rewards close listening.
