Immanuel's Manual [Vinyl LP]

Marvelous Kid - Immanuel's Manual [Vinyl LP]

Recorded in 1974, Immanuel's Manual captures Cornish progressive group Marvelous Kid at their most developed, after the band had moved into the London underground circuit. Their Canterbury-influenced sound had become looser and more jazz-minded, with long-form writing opening into extended instrumental passages and Pete Davey, formerly of Patto, adding saxophone and flute.

The four pieces were recorded in the band's home studio and went unreleased at the time. A remarkable surviving document from a British progressive band that never made the album it deserved.
