Golden Earring (Wall Of Dolls) [LP]

Golden Earring - Golden Earring (Wall Of Dolls) [LP]

Golden Earring's self-titled 1970 album, also known as "Wall Of Dolls," saw the Dutch rockers embarking on a harder, rougher musical journey. Influenced by bands like Led Zeppelin, The Who and The Doors, the band evolved from a 60s beat group into a 70s rock band. The album includes one of their biggest hits, "Back Home" (#1 in the Netherlands, #15 in Germany).

Reissue producer Wouter Bessels had Artone Studio cut this release all-analog (AAA): the original analog master tape was played back on a Studer A80 and cut direct to lacquer on a Neumann VMS-70 lathe, the first AAA cut of a classic Golden Earring album, with no additional equalization or digital processing.

Limited edition of 1000 individually numbered copies on translucent yellow 180 gram audiophile vinyl, with an insert featuring liner notes.
