Fragments Of Yesterday [LP]

The Embrooks - Fragments Of Yesterday [LP]

Since late '96, The Embrooks have mixed hard garage, freakbeat and psychedelia, giving the mid-to-late '60s sound a modern stamp. The trio of Lois, Alessandro and Mole have played Cavestomp, Purple Weekend and the Las Vegas Grind. Fragments Of Yesterday follows We Who Are and covers a lot of ground, from the raw garage of 'Closed Doors' to the folk-rock jangle of 'My Way, It's Here' and acoustic acid folk.

Celeste, hammered dulcimer, autoharp, trumpet and recorders add plenty of color. Limited to 500 copies on vinyl.
