Former Self [CD]

Commoner – Former Self [CD]

On their debut full-length Former Self, Commoner pair the raw intensity of post-hardcore and noise rock with a darker, atmospheric edge. Each member uses it as a window of reflection on change, memory and moving forward, closing a chapter of the band's writing that had long needed an ending. Heavy, vulnerable and deeply personal without ever turning preachy.
