Sister Irene O'Connor — Fire of God’s Love [LP]
Australian nun Sister Irene O’Connor’s 1973 album combines original spiritual songs with guitar, electric organ, drum machine and layered vocals. Recorded and mixed by Sister Marimil Lobregat, its unusual production bridges folk, gospel and experimental electronics. This authorized Freedom to Spend reissue was restored and remastered by Jessica Thompson and includes liner notes and an 18-page lyric booklet.
