Fiddlemen [LP]

Joe Gittleman - Fiddlemen [LP]

Joe Gittleman, founding member, bassist and songwriter of the Mighty Mighty Bosstones, assembles a cast of Boston punk and ska veterans on Fiddlemen: Bosstones bandmate Nate Albert and Tim Brennan of the Dropkick Murphys on guitars, with Michael McDermott, whose resume runs from the Bouncing Souls and Joan Jett to Gittleman's band the Kilograms, on drums. The songs grew out of 'La Piece De Resistance', first written to score a 1966 short film shot by his father, and look back on the early Bosstones years and the birth of the Kilograms.

Released on black vinyl by Rad Girlfriend Records, the label that has stood behind Gittleman's work with the Kilograms.
