Discount Fireworks [LP]

Blacktop Mojo - Discount Fireworks [LP]

Discount Fireworks is the sixth studio album from Texas hard rock band Blacktop Mojo, led by singer Matt James, and the follow-up to 2024's Pollen. It's an independent release on the band's own Cuhmon Records.

The band blends Southern rock grit with grunge-era heaviness, the kind of sound that draws comparisons to both Soundgarden and Lynyrd Skynyrd. The album was previewed by the singles "Gutshot", "S.A.D.", "10 Year Itch" and "Time The Killer". "S.A.D." pairs heavy guitars with a big melodic hook in a song about isolation and pretending you're fine when you're not.

This is the vinyl LP edition.
