Derik & The Disasters [Yellow LP]

Derik & The Disasters - Derik & The Disasters [Yellow LP]

Derik & The Disasters unite two British punk lifers: UK Subs frontman Charlie Harper and Del Greening, guitarist with Brighton's Peter and the Test Tube Babies. Harper had long admired Greening's playing, turning up in the front row at Test Tubes gigs, and with both spending less time on the road they finally made it happen, joined by Vicky Smith of the Ramonas on bass and Harper's grandson Marley Perez on drums. Cut at Brighton Road studios with no rehearsals and only skeletal song ideas, it's raw and immediate.

Fourteen songs, from 'Clickbait' and 'Parasite' to 'Strait of Hormuz', pressed on yellow vinyl by Damaged Goods, the long-running London punk label.
