Deliverance (25th Anniversary) [Crystal Clear 2LP]

Opeth - Deliverance (25th Anniversary) [Crystal Clear 2LP]

Deliverance is Opeth's sixth studio album, first released in November 2002. It was recorded in Gothenburg at Studio Fredman and Nacksving Studio in the summer of 2002 alongside its quieter companion Damnation, with Mikael Åkerfeldt and Steven Wilson producing, and it remains the heavier, death-metal-leaning half of that pair. It was the first Opeth album to reach the Billboard charts.

The lineup is Mikael Åkerfeldt, Peter Lindgren, Martín Méndez and Martin Lopez, with Wilson adding keyboards and backing vocals. The six tracks run just over an hour, from "Wreath" through the title track to "By the Pain I See in Others". This anniversary reissue from Music for Nations/Sony is a double LP on crystal clear vinyl.
