Clube Da Esquina [2LP]

Milton Nascimento & Lô Borges - Clube Da Esquina [2LP]

The landmark 1972 collaborative double album by Milton Nascimento and Lô Borges, named after the collective of musicians who gathered on a street corner in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais. Alongside Tropicália, the Clube Da Esquina movement achieved the greatest international resonance of any Brazilian music in the post-bossa nova era.

The album blends bossa nova and Brazilian regional music with rock, psychedelia, jazz, folk and classical influences, carried by Nascimento's soaring falsetto, intricate acoustic guitar and rich string arrangements by Wagner Tiso and Eumir Deodato. Features "Tudo Que Você Podia Ser," "Cais," "O Trem Azul," "Um Girassol Da Cor De Seu Cabelo" and "Clube Da Esquina Nº 2."
