Borderlands 4 (Soundtrack) [2LP]

Various Artists - Borderlands 4 (Soundtrack) [2LP]

Gearbox Entertainment and Laced Records continue their co-op run with the energetic soundtrack for Borderlands 4 on black 180 gram vinyl, specially mastered for vinyl by Joe Caithness and housed in a deluxe gatefold sleeve with artwork featuring the Vault Hunters and the beasts and bad guys they face across Kairos.

The most ambitious soundtrack in the series so far, it was crafted by composers including returnees Finishing Move Inc., Cris Velasco, Joshua Carro and Christian Pacaud. Glitchy drum beats and upbeat club music sit alongside moments of ambient calm. Lead track "This Land" was composed by Des Rocs, while Casey Di Iorio's grunge opus "Thrum Dumpster" features Jared Reddick of Bowling For Soup and ex-Pantera vocalist Terry Glaze.

The album is sequenced to highlight each major biome of the planet Kairos: the Fadefields, the Terminus Range, Carcadia Burn and Dominion City.
