Dream Crease is the solo project of Los Angeles producer and multi-instrumentalist Marina Aguerre (Teal Pop, Spaceface, Dumbo Gets Mad). Her second full length album Blue Hour in the Living Room is fantasy ambient drawn from otherworldly visions and nature recorded in her own back yard. It captures the transition between day and night, life and death, outside and inside, and how quickly those lines blur. The album explores rebirth, death and rot, and the cycle of living through self-captured nature samples, synthesized into a dreamy and textured introspective journey. Through obscured lyrics and bird calls, Aguerre finds the immensely complex yet microscopic ecosystems in our own back yards have valuable lessons growing within them, if we only take the chance to get very small and look.
