From Guadalajara, an exhilarating new sound is taking shape. Ladrones – composed of Zxmyr, Cirujano Resendez, José Macario, and Diego Zornoza – have built what they call “Flow Pesado,” a collision of nu metal, hip-hop, and regional Mexican music. What began as a studio collaboration between friends grew into a project rooted in shared history and instinct. Their upcoming third album, Arriba La L, is the band’s first full-length release in this new chapter with Rise Records. Following Flow Pesado (2024) and Mexican Pesado (2025), the record finds the band “much clearer now about where we stand, what we’re doing, and the message we want to give people,” says Zxmyr.
