Arcane Allies - Aestesia [CD]

Arcane Allies are a Berlin/Cologne trio founded in 2016 by Christiana and Sidney Jaffe, with Joel Jaffe joining in 2018. They mix psychedelic rock, krautrock, ambient, doom, jazz and free improvisation into hypnotic, cinematic music, riding motorik grooves, shimmering synths and surf-tinged guitar from meditative calm to crushing weight. CAN, Neu!, Kraftwerk, Terry Riley and Steve Reich are touchstones, and the title track leans into repetition and shifting patterns. The band has played over 300 shows in 15 countries.

Five tracks on CD from CrazySane Records; also issued on vinyl.
