Danny Sinoff - A Very Sinoff Christmas [LP]
A Very Sinoff Christmas began as a few holiday songs that singer and pianist Danny Sinoff cut while making Make Someone Happy. The planned EP grew into a full album once drummer Ulysses Owens Jr. suggested adding strings. Matt Grandy wrote the arrangements, and trumpeter Jeremy Pelt, harmonica player Cy Leo and tenor saxophonist Cory Weeds joined as soloists.
From 'Silver Bells' and 'The Christmas Song' to 'What Are You Doing New Year's Eve?', it's a warm, swinging holiday spin. Pressed on black 180-gram vinyl.
