Nanbu-Shiki - Hanabi [7"]

Nanbushiki is a new minyo unit formed around Gottan player Jinta Terabaru. This old-yet-new performing arts collective reinterprets and reconstructs folklore music through a unique blend of street performer-style patter, songs, storytelling, and giant puppets. Now in their 11th year, they are primarily active in Kagoshima and Miyazaki. From their own festival, Miyakonojo Furusato Yoichi, to Fuji Rock Festival 2025, the Taiwan Lantern Festival, and countless venues throughout Japan, they have performed everywhere from underground bars to massive festivals, local festivals, and Bon Odori events.
