Leones, an Italian Nu-Jazz Disco-Beat Hybrid Band, follow up their 2021 Star Creature 7" with a sprawling LP's worth of just that: Futuristic acid jazz over heavy drum beats, minimal squelching west-coast synths, punchy basslines all tied together under a warm bed of vibey overtones. A very in demand sound and slight departure for Chicago's Star Creature, but a very exciting new direction.
