Alison Goldfrapp and Will Gregory have really pushed the boat out on this 20th anniversary reissue of their most celebrated and popular album, Supernature. The set, and its much-loved singles 'Ooh La La', 'Ride a White Horse' and 'Number 1', perfectly showcased their 21st century re-imagining of stylish synth-pop, in the process propelling them to global stardom. This time round, the original album - lightly expanded via the edition of bonus cut 'Beautiful' - is accompanied by a Blu-Ray disc sporting a new Dolby 5:1 surround sound mix - and another that features a mixture of old and new remixes (the latter including two fresh versions by Goldfrapp and Gregory themselves), and a smattering of live recordings (most laid down in TV and radio studios). The definitive version of a noughties classic.
