Originally released in 1967, Parton’s debut solo album introduced the wit, emotional honesty and unmistakable voice that would become hallmarks of her songwriting for decades to come. The album reached No. 11 on the country albums chart and helped bring Parton to a wider audience just as she was beginning her rise to national stardom.

The album includes two of Parton’s earliest hits, “Dumb Blonde” and “Something Fishy,” alongside “Put It Off Until Tomorrow,” “Fuel to the Flame,” “The Company You Keep” and “The Little Things.” Parton wrote or co-wrote 10 of the album’s 12 songs, many with her uncle and early songwriting partner Bill Owens, revealing just how fully formed her gifts as a songwriter were from the very beginning. limited-edition pressing gives the country classic an audiophile presentation on 180-gram Flame Galaxy colored vinyl, with AAA lacquers cut from tape by Ryan Smith at Sterling Sound.
