Zone 3 [Egg Sunrise Vinyl]

Delivery - Zone 3 [Egg Sunrise Vinyl]

Delivery are a five-piece from Melbourne who started as a lockdown project and became one of Australia's most restless guitar bands. They mix post-punk, punk and garage rock with rhythms made for dancing. Rolling Stone called their second album, Force Majeure, "a statement of intent."

Zone 3 was written and recorded after a long stretch of touring, and it shows a band that has fully come together. They trust their instincts here and go beyond the sound they started with. The album is built on stiff drum-machine grooves, pulsing synths, wiry guitars and hypnotic basslines. The vocals move between cool detachment and real urgency.

The album runs about forty minutes and plays like a trip through the city at night, suited to crowded bars, dark clubs and the hours before sunrise. It is the band at their most focused and playful. This edition is pressed on clear vinyl with an orange 'egg yolk' center.
