Welcome My Last Chapter [2xCassette]

Vinterland - Welcome My Last Chapter [2xCassette]

Vinterland's only album is a cornerstone of 90s Swedish melodic black metal. It was recorded at Unisound Studios in the winter of 1995, with Dan Swanö on keyboards, and it sets frostbitten tremolo riffs against sorrowful, atmospheric melodies. It belongs on the same shelf as the early work of Dissection and Sacramentum.

The band went silent soon after the album came out, and its reputation grew in their absence. Vinterland have now reunited for live shows marking the album's thirtieth anniversary, and Black Lodge Records is releasing this anniversary edition on several formats.

This is the cassette version, spread across two tapes, which suits a release from the height of the tape-trading era.
