Varier: Berlin [LP]

Tamar Osborn - Varier: Berlin [LP]

Saxophonist, woodwind player, bandleader and composer Tamar Osborn stands at the heart of the UK's forward-thinking jazz movement. Well known as a bandleader and featured player across many groups, most notably her modal ensemble Collocutor as well as Sarathy Korwar, Emanative, Dele Sosimi and Ill Considered, she now unveils her most ambitious and exploratory project to date.

Centered around the concepts and rituals of improvisation, collaboration and music as a tool for healing, Varier draws on two recording sessions in Berlin and London with two different ensembles. Varier: Berlin is the first to be released (Varier: London follows in 2027), featuring Tamar Osborn, Rosa Brunello, Bex Burch, Dudu Kouate, Maurice Louca, Regis Molina and Maurizio Ravalico.
