Variance / Duo [LP]

Pierre Henry - Variance / Duo [LP]

Released for the centenary of Pierre Henry's birth, Variance and Duo are lost tapes by the electroacoustic pioneer, never released before. Born in Paris in 1927 and guided early on by Olivier Messiaen, Henry co-founded the G.R.M. with Pierre Schaeffer and invented compositional techniques that went on to be used everywhere, with a sound as recognizable as any great jazz musician's.

On LP with OBI, from Transversales Disques.
