Debuted in January 1967 with "Break on Through". The worldview reminiscent of "death" and "aestheticism" and Jim Morrison's charismatic stage performance attracted attention, and their debut album "Light a Fire in Your Heart" quickly won a gold disc. In 1968, their third album "Waiting for the Sun", which included the smash hit "Hello, I Love You", recorded their first No. 1 album on the US album chart. After releasing their sixth album "LA Woman", Jim passed away at the young age of 27.

This is the fourth album in which the solitary charisma, Jim Morrison, shows a new worldview. An album that boldly introduces brass sections and percussion. It reached #6 on the US album chart. It includes "Touch Me" and "Tell All the People," which reached #3 on the US singles chart. (1969 release)
