The Lonesome Crowded West [2LP]

Modest Mouse - The Lonesome Crowded West [2LP]

The Lonesome Crowded West, Modest Mouse's second album from 1997, is a sprawling portrait of strip malls, highways and isolation in the Pacific Northwest. Isaac Brock's frantic vocals and jagged guitars drive songs like "Trucker's Atlas," "Cowboy Dan" and "Doin' the Cockroach," and it is widely counted among the essential indie rock records of the decade.

This double LP reissue is on Glacial Pace.
