The Fabulous Thunderbirds - The Doc Pomus Recordings 1978 [Blue LP]

In 1978, before their debut album, The Fabulous Thunderbirds cut a full album with the Roomful of Blues horn section, produced by Doc Pomus, the soulful songwriter behind hits for everyone from Ray Charles on down. For reasons nobody can explain, it was passed over and the tapes went away. Now it finally sees daylight, with Jimmie Vaughan and Kim Wilson tearing through 'Scratch My Back', 'She's Tuff', 'I Can't Quit You Baby' and more.

Previously unreleased studio recordings by the original band, pressed on blue vinyl in a limited edition by Last Music Company.
