This album was conceived and recorded during the COVID pandemic between 2021 and 2023. The vision was that it would include 4 types of songs: traditional social dance songs, hymns, songs by Choctaw artists, and original compositions. While I had intended for this album to be a collaboration with a number of other indigenous musicians, the restraints of the pandemic prevented that. As a result, I played, sang, and engineered all of the tracks and instruments on this album, mistakes and all.
