Americana royalty and Blaze Foley's Austin running buddy, Lucinda Williams anchors an assemblage of thirteen contemporary artists covering classic early Blaze recordings. Lucy Dacus, Uncle Lucius, Phosphorescent, John R. Miller, and Angela Autumn, along with seven other contemporary songwriters contribute tracks reflecting early recordings from Blaze's 'tree house' days in Georgia. Those recordings were originally released by Lost Art Records as 'Sittin' by the Road' in 2010 from demos made by Blaze in the mid-1970s.

Other artists contributing tracks to the project are Willie Watson, Cactus Lee, Dylan Earl, Riley Downing, Joshua Ray Walker, Twain, and John Moreland.

Blaze was also a visual artist. Package design incorporates elements of Blaze's art on the gatefold panels. Sleeve is printed on both sides and highlights each of the 13 tracks with one of Blaze's original images. Liner notes by famed Texas music writer Joe Nick Patoski.
