Charles Brackeen - Rhythm X [Indie Exclusive 180g LP]
Saxophonist Charles Brackeen's debut as a leader was recorded in New York on January 26, 1968, with Ornette Coleman associates Don Cherry, Charlie Haden and Ed Blackwell, produced by Clifford Jordan and issued on Strata-East in 1973 as part of what became known as the Dolphy Series.
This indie-exclusive vinyl edition is cut from the original analog tapes, mastered by Kevin Gray and pressed on 180-gram vinyl at RTI. It comes in a deluxe gatefold tip-on jacket with previously unseen photographs, new liner notes and a Strata-East Dolphy Series postcard set.
