John Hollenbeck - Peace And Justice [CD]

John Hollenbeck's Peace and Justice joins the Hot Club Jazz Orchestra in arrangements shaped by Ukrainian folk songs.

Recorded in Lisbon in June 2022, the project grew from a commission to arrange Ukrainian folk music. Hollenbeck and the orchestra interpret material including Oi u luzi chervona kalyna and a traditional carol from the Kharkiv region.
