Orcas' Greatest Hits [LP]

Jim Nollman - Orcas' Greatest Hits [LP]

Jim Nollman's Orcas' Greatest Hits explores musical exchanges with whales through hydrophone recordings made between 1985 and 2002.

Drawn from more than sixty hours of recordings, the collection documents Nollman and fellow musicians listening and responding to orcas from a floating studio in British Columbia. The project developed through respectful-distance musical encounters at the Orcananda community space.
