Mycelium Bloom [LP]

Visions Of Light - Mycelium Bloom [LP]

Mycelium Bloom is the second album from Visions Of Light, a trio made up of Simon Sheldon, Muzka and Dan Dub Lounge. It follows their debut, The Mandala Vortex. They keep their mix of downtempo dub grooves and sun-warmed Balearic atmosphere, then push further into psychedelic territory with trippy electronics, layered effects-laden guitars and deep, warm basslines.

The album moves between ambient dub, desert-blues textures and dreamy melodies. It works for sunset listening as well as late-night sessions and the quieter corners of a dancefloor. Richard Dormer sings on "Perfect You" and Luis Vilca plays flute on it. This LP has eight tracks, including edits of "B Town," "Perfect You" and "Holding Jupiter."

DJs supporting the record include Glenn Underground, Leo Mas and Sean Johnston.
