Long Gone [CD]

Steuart Liebig & Men-Tot Six – Long Gone [CD]

Long Gone is the second album from Los Angeles avant-garde bass icon Steuart Liebig's band Men-Tot Six, a raucous fusion rooted in the meeting point of blues, country and free jazz. The lineup features Tony Atherton (alto sax), Bill Barrett (chromatic harmonica), Joseph Berardi (drums), Dan Clucas (cornet), Scot Ray (slide guitar) and Liebig on contrabass guitars.

After a long, pandemic-delayed wait since their 2018 debut, it's a rousing, exciting return. Eight tracks on CD from Orenda Records.
